Using the shopping bag structure and concept as a starting point, MEDEA considers the shopper as a blank canvas for color and artistic collaboration, proposing a vibrant selection of monochrome leather bags alongside limited-editions featuring the work of renowned artists and photographers from around the world. For FW20, MEDEA has partnered with London based label Kiko Kostadinov on a special edition of 7 bags crafted in Verona and featuring a Vortex graphic created for the collection. The collaboration was exclusively launched at “The Broken Arm” in Paris with a special performance by Dev Hynes (Blood Orange). 

Named after Pier Paolo Pasolini’s 1969 film – and reaching back in time to the multiple personae of the Greek goddess: elegant, beguiling, and sensuous – MEDEA is the brainchild of artists, models, and twin sisters Giulia and Camilla Venturini.
